The company started out in 1987 as gloucestershire's original video disco service, this trend continued for 6 years before we concentrated on the next big thing to arrive in the u.k........................................karaoke!!!!!
The karaoke side of the business was launched in 1995 since then High Energy promotions have supplied Disco & karaoke shows to a wide variety of customers & venues making the company's reputation for quality entertainment what it is today
2008 saw the re-launch of the video disco side of the business. this is a add on service to either a karaoke or disco show.
MUSIC
High Energy Promotions have a very wide variety of music to ensure They can cater for every event. Whether it's 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, modern day, Rock to Pop, Club Dance to Jazz, RnB to Soul; we have it! With a huge music collection, there is something for everyone! Requests are not an issue either. The DJs will do their very best to find the song you have requested.
You can also email us lists of requests prior to your event to ensure we have those 'special' tracks on the night.
Karaoke
The karaoke side of the company currently supplies regular karaoke nights to pubs and clubs around gloucestershire, currently the karaoke books contain 40,000+ songs so something for everyone from sing along favourites to current chart hits,karaoke can either be booked as a stand alone night or as a add on to the popular disco/video disco service.
Video Disco Service
The video disco side of the service started in 1987 using vhs video things have now moved on and the service now uses dvd/pc software to provide a fully professional video disco presentation, why not add a extra little something to your special occasion by adding the video disco service?. ther are a few options for this service but the main option is the use of a large video screen to display the video of the current playing song, so it adds a visual content to the show.
Through the software used it can also be used to display photo's of your special day if requested (photo's must be jpeg format) and can be supplied on either cd/dvd or memory stick (these will be returned to the customer at the end of the night).
Room Uplighting
Why not add that extra wow factor to your event with our uplighting/mood lighting the cost for this service is extra to a normal disco or karaoke but adds that extra wow factor to your function, using the latest led technology our units can do any colour and do not get hot making them ideal for placement in various positions.
